I never understood those words that were spoken to me, until I was faced with the same difficult choice. It may not be clear to you - but instead of the easy path, I choose to save my love from what I fear...to choke the life that was going to take her own.

As I watch my feathers burn, a part of me begins to ponder...
What could I have been if I did not sin? If I choose to walk a different path?
I extend my hand and reach for what once was beautiful...
But then the feathers and the dream burn to ashes and the wind carries them away...

Character from a novel I wrote a LONG TIME ago when I was a kid - the character in the deviation was an angel who caught a glimpse of his future. Satan wanted to tempt him into committing a horrible act that would cause him to loose his wings and give Satan a chance to snag him. This foresight showed the angel the death of his love and the face of the man who killed her. As time passed and her death drew nearer he would have more frequent visions that revealed more about the event, (slowly revealing where, when, and what took place). He knew what the devil was conjuring, but another side quest is to find out why Satan is specifically targetting him out. Even though he knew that by saving her, he would be allowing Satan to win, he could not sit idle & wait for the event to take place. So...to prevent this from happening, he choose to murder the man who was going to kill the woman he loved and consequently was sent back down to earth. The story begins here when he is trying to find a way back into heaven & unravel the mystery behind Satan's plan.

This took many hours in Photoshop using none other than a ball-mouse O.O
I am glad I am done with it...Did this for my birthday which is coming up (July 5th) - I'm going to make my birthday list and I wanted to put the list on a website and have him featured in the layout
