Why isn't there a conceptual category in the Digital painting section?
I worked on and off on this for the past three weeks or so. The original was blue and the lava had been a tree, but then about half-way through I decided to change it to fire & lava, and I think it worked out well. I'm going to post the other versions of this some other time
This is my submission into the "Inner Visions" contest held by *ro-stock & ~AlicelefayStock

Mmm to my opinion..that seems like an insect shell being broken by the bug.. in this case, the girl jejeje just my opinion about the meaning.. and for the artwork.. awesome..

Fav for sure.
She seems a bit ashamed, scared even, but she knows she has to do it, to enter this new path and become a new person.
She's ready to come out and peal off her old skin, that's why the lava is dripping, she's getting away from the fire, from the change.
At least that's the way I see this.
